Plot

The year is 2045. America has just gotten out of a long cold war with Canada. The world feels at peace with itself. New discoveries have been made. Cancer has been cured. As a result, many people started taking up smoking again.
Then something started going wrong. The first attack started in the form of a malfunctioning mechanical arm that was used to build cars. It ended up killing one of the workers by driving a nail into his stomach and head.
A few weeks later, the real problem began. Every working computer began to create robots. The robots began to kill every living person within proximity of themselves. Then they began to spread out over the world.
The only safe place became a bio-dome created on Earth to mimic one they hoped to build on Mars, known as Project Galatiae. Those who could make it, did. It became a cacophony of people. The world outside the dome became unsafe. Anyone who was not within its walls were hunted down and destroyed. Robots began to rule the outside world.
The world inside the dome is in shambles. Everything is restricted, including birth and death. Anyone who breaks one of the few laws is executed on site.
Meanwhile, the military had been attempting to find a way to combat the robots. They created cybermen, but some of the military feared that the virus may infect their people. They were sent to the dome to be monitored, but the people inside rejected them. They became second-class citizens of sorts.
The robots have also started to become smarter. They have begun to try and copy human form--to create a robot that could infiltrate the human population. The first try succeeded, but too well. It became emotional. They were forced to terminate. Now they have a few working models--some have even been released into the human society...
